Are you using files directly in the VM, or from shared folders? The latter can cause performance issues. You can try to give the VM 2 GB of RAM - XP will use most of it.

@samady231 Hey, According to the .log files you're not having an issue with the .vmx configuration file... your having big problems with the virtual hard disk (.vmdk files).
