I'm running Windows 8 host with VMWare 8. Both of my Ubuntu 10.04 guests have an IP address (per ifconfig) but cannot connect to the internet.
Each VM is setup as NAT. This same setup worked fine in Windows 7.
Windows 8 was a fresh, plain vanilla install on a new SSD (! Image may be NSFW.
