if thats the case , you can repopulate the windows apps on your Mac's app folder in two ways as far as i know.
1) Through unity mode : VMware KB: Adding Windows applications to your Mac's Applications folder using VMware Fusion
2) From Virtual Machine settings > Default Application
a ) re-enable ( disable and enable ) Run Windows applications from Mac's app folder
