As you suggested, I did the following. Virtual Machine's Settings set "Share Mac printers with Windows" to "Off".
After installing the printer driver, the instructions on the installation CD are:
"Make sure printer is conected to computer, turn on printer"
The illistration as this point shows:
1. connect cable to computer
2. connect cable to printer
3. turn on printer
I uninstalled the driver and followed your suggestions. I still get the error message: "The printer is not detected. Check the connection."
The printer remains working on Mac, so connections must be okay.
Any other ideas?
