Under Virtual Machine menu if it says "Reinstall VMware Tools" instead of "update VMware Tools" or "Install VMware Tools", it means that VMware Tools is installed and uptodate.
To confirm the version of VMware Tools, right click on the VM logo that you get after logging into Windows in the system tray and choose about vmware tools.
if its 9.2.2 its updated version.
