I have exactly the same. I moved my Fusion 5.0.2 (not a trial) from my previous MacBook Pro to a new Retina MacBook Pro. My VM is a Windows 7 Enterprise SP1 (probably French). I have reinstalled Fusion 5.0.2 again and I have reinstalled my VMware Tools. But still Google Chrome crashes Fusion. I even got a BlueScreen. I hadn't seen one of those in a while ;-). This is a serious problem. I hope the attached file can help. I have also tried to go back to 5.0.1, but that didn't seem to help. It seems that the issue is related to the Retina MacBook Pro, since it worked fine before.
