XP migration hangs at 95% in Fusion Pro

Hi:

Decided to get rid of one of my boxes by migrating it to a VM.  Everything looked good.

Used the VMware Fusion PC Migration Agent on the XP side over my LAN.

Have Fusion Pro installed on my Macbook Pro w/ tons of space.

Just stalled after completing transfer at 95%.

I've seen several other threads indicating this is a very common problem but no answers so I'm starting a new thread since there was too much noise on the other threads.
