Yes, I do have only 1 user and he's got admin rights.And no, I didn't remove, repair and re-install. As Fusion usually works and only has problems after sleep mode, I wouldn't see that as root cause.

It could be something strange with the permissions on the kext's...worth a try to do the uninstall/reinstall path.
