Try turning off system restore in the guest. If you have antivirus in there, make sure it's not running a scan (that can cause this, particularly if it scans shared drives).

If you're referring to the active User Account on the Host, VMware Fusion does not have such a feature and implementing any workaround would probably not be trivial.
