Re: Vmware on Macbook Cannot find a valid peer process to connect to

I am having a similar issue with Fusion 4.1.4.  I have XP which runs OK (well as it always did - slowly!).

I also have Windows server 2008 R2 x64 .  It has run faultlessly and fast until recently.  It simply locked up. I couldn't even shut it down from the VMware menu, so I force closed VMware.  I now get the 'Cannot find valid peer process to connect to' - even after replacing with an old working backup virtual machine.

My directory "/Library/Application Support/VMware Fusion/" does not have any file (especially boot.sh) other than the license key document.
