VM and launching IE problem

I have VM 4.1.4 on a Mac with Lion OS

I normall don't use IE when in VM using XP but now I have a need and when it opens it gives me a runtime error, does go to the home page but continue giving the runtime error.

Any suggestion on how to fix this?
