I appreciate your assistance, but guess I am a bit unsure of your recommended guidance.  I do have a time machine back up dated June 1, 2013, but nothing further.  As I mentioned in my original e-mail, I shut everything down and restarted to try and get my time machine disk from giving me an error that it couldn't complete a back up.  I have had that happen a time or two before and that seemed to resolve it.  This time, when I went to restart, I was sent the error message that my .vmdk file could not be found.  So the last file I have on time machine will be from June 1 and would not likely carry a time stamp of Jun 1613:26.  I am a novice when it comes to VM Fusion, but have worked on the Windows and MAC side a good bit.  When you have a moment and could share your insight, it would be greatly appreciated.  Most of what I have has been successfully backed up as you suggested above.  Unfortunately, the most important file, my Quicken operating file, does not show up there.  The only thing I can figure, is that it was only backing up to the virtual machine.

Thanks
