Here's what I did. I copied the virtual machine bundle (Windows XP Home Edition.vmwarevm) from BOOTCAMP to my external hard drive. After that, everything seemed fine, but what I did then was I shut down the virtual machine and opened Snapshot Manager and deleted all of the snapshots listed, which was only one. I know you said there were 5 snapshots, but even when I unchecked the "Only show my snapshots" box it still only showed one snapshot. Then, I took a snapshot and then deleted it which then brought up a little window that said it was cleaning up the deleted files. That took awhile to finish. After that was done, I started Windows back up and it seems to be alright. I still have the copy of the virtual machine bundle on my external hard drive and I have the Autoprotect Snapshot feature turned off. My external hard drive has 103.84 GB available out of 500 GB.
My question now is, should I leave the copy of the virtual machine bundle on my external hard and delete the BOOTCAMP one or should I try copying the virtual machine bundle from my external hard drive to replace the one in BOOTCAMP? If you think I should delete the BOOTCAMP one, how do you go about doing that? I wasn't the person that setup the virtual machine on BOOTCAMP, so I'm really not familiar with how it works. I truly appreciate the help with this. Thank you!!
