Re: Fusion 5+2012 mac mini, 10.8.x fails to boot as guest OS

Hi whistl034,

I have no trouble installing 10.8.3 into a VM on any of my Mac hardware (Macmini6,2, MacPro5,1, MacBookPro6,2).

If you're interested in persevering and getting it going, please provide the details of the steps you're taking after downloading the installer from the App Store through to your new VM failing to boot.  It should just be a matter of creating a new virtual machine, dragging the OS X installer application into the New Virtual Machine Assistant, and going through the last few steps of the wizard.

If you are using a physical USB drive and/or the Lion DiskMaker utility you mentioned earlier, you are needlessly complicating things and introducing more ways in which things might fail...

Cheers,

Darius
