Thanks. That sounds promising for doing what I need on this thread...

 

How to run then DiskWarrior to rebuild the directory of a VMware Fusion disk image at "/Users/~/Documents/Virtual Machines.localized/Mac OS X Server 10.6 64-bit.vmwarevm" that lives in a Mac mini with OS X 10.8.3 (Mountain Lion)?

 

If possible, a step-by-step procedure for newbies knowing nothing about command-line interfaces or "temporarily adding the target .vmdk to a secondary VM" will be most appreciated. Sorry for my ignorance on these matters.
