I think the last time I used WP was back in the DOS days so I'm not sure what you're referring to when you say "Are the Word Perfect editing commands available on the mac keyboard ?" however if you're referring to something like Reveal Codes and if it's Alt+F4 and that's not working try fn+Alt+F4. Otherwise you'll need to be a bit more explicit and specific about what issue you're having. In the context of general edit command, copy, cut, paste, etc., I would think these should work as expected as they do in the other application I use.
