My VMware Fusion has recently started exhibiting rather strange behavior. Occasionally I'll leave the computer (or will just be working in another window) and return to find that the program has launched itself. At first I thought perhaps I accidently hit the Fusion icon in my Dock, but I removed it and the problem still occurs. I can't say for sure (yet), but it's my impression that I'm usually running Firefox and/or Safari at the same time that the startup occurs, and I don't see anything in the browser prefs that would call Fusion up. It doesn't happen frequently so it is difficult to troubleshoot.
My virus defs are up to date, and haven't found anything obvious. The virtual machine is hosting Windows XP (not sure which version right now), and it's virus software also comes back with a clean result.
Has anyone run into this problem before, or could someone suggest a starting point for digging through the system logs to figure out what's going on?
