Nicely written WoodyZ. And my point exactly. It seems that none of the hypervisors works for everyhing we need. I too use which ever one works best, but limit my choices to Fusion and Parallels (when using OS X as a host). Too bad they are not both free. Image may be NSFW.
Clik here to view. I try VirtualBox abot once per year and am quickly disappointed each time, however I know others who seem t like it. I want Nirvana I suppose.
As for the Windows 7 drivers are concerned, using Parallels they are downloaded from the internet as soon as expose the external drive to the VM. This behavior is EXACTLY the same as when I plug in the external drive to a Windows 7 desktop. Seems weird that a Fusion WIn7 VM would have an issue.
This horse has been beaten to death, unless VMware has something to say?
Again, thanks.
