Hi dlhotka,

No, I'm on Mac Systems with an Intel GMA X3100 (a MacBook) and a NVidia Geforce 320M (a MacMini) today.

The systems are not very old, in my opinion, but not supported by Fusion 5.

p.s.

The real problem is, I'm able to switch 3D to "On" in the Fusion 5 preferences without any warning.

But after a Guest startup, Fusion 5 switch the 3D support "Off" and I get the warning

"No 3D support is available from the host. The 3D features of the virtual machine will be disabled.".

This is a helpful warning, but I missed a check in the Fusion 5 preferences.

My next new Mac use Intel HD 4000 or NVIDIA GeForce 650M, but VMware does not support this graphic.

VMware support NVidia Geforce 8600M, this became available in 05/2007.

But the NVidia Geforce 320M became available in 12/2009.

Fusion 3 and 4 support my graphic cards, Fusion 2 (the MacBook, GMA X3100) and 5 does not.

> Fusion 5 has much better graphics support.  Are you on a very old machine that they dropped support for?

VMware drop support for some graphic cards, not for very old cards.

In general, Fusion 5 works well and fulfils all my requirements!

Apart from a nice, usefull preference panel for the network setup.
