I have the following question for you:

1. Did this issue only occur on one window 7 GOS or all of other window/Linux GOS? you could see this issue always or accidently?
   
2. Did you install VMware Tools?  If you install Tools in your VM, the guest will automatically fit to the window whenever it's resized and fullscreen mode.
