Thank you for your reply.
I've tried the steps recommended: disabling sharing and reinstalling Vmtools etc and that did not work unfortunately. I have then tried updating the registry to the following:
Desktop | %USERPROFILE%\Desktop |
My Music | %USERPROFILE%\Music |
My Pictures | %USERPROFILE%\Pictures |
Personal | %USERPROFILE%\Documents |
I then logged off and back on, and tried to access My Documents. A prompt then comes up and says VMtools needs me to log off to apply some changes, so I log off and log in again.
My Documents then still does not work.
I check the registry and it appears VM Tools has changed the above to
Desktop | \\vmware-host\Shared Folders\Desktop |
My Music | \\vmware-host\Shared Folders\Music |
My Pictures | \\vmware-host\Shared Folders\Pictures |
Personal | \\vmware-host\Shared Folders\Documents |
Do you have any idea why this is happening?
Thanks
