Re: Suspended virtual machines destroyed after upgrading to 5.0.3

First of all, one is supposed to properly shutdown the Guest OS using the controls from within the Guest OS, not Suspend, and then close VMware Fusion before upgrading.

Secondly if there is an issue with a suspended Virtual Machine the usual fix is simply to delete the .vmss file from within the Virtual Machine's Package.  This sets the Virtual Machine to a powered off state and anything that was not saved to disk when suspended unfortunately will be lost however that is why one is not supposed to suspend a Virtual Machine without first saving any unsaved work!
