Well, if you have actually moved the "VMware Fusion.app" bundle and any Virtual Machines you created to the Trash and emptied the Trash then I'm not sure what your disk management issues has to do with VMware, nothing I'd say.

 

Don't mean to be difficult however frankly I don't see any of this as a VMware issue per se.  In other words, it's the User who's responsible for disk management of their system not the manufactures of software one chooses to use.

 

Disk Inventory X or GrandPerspective are good utilities to help figure out what's consuming your disk space and if something is not adding up there's not much I can do without looking at the system itself and since you've deleted VMware Fusion and cannot collect the support information from its Help I have no hard technical data to analyze and offer you more then I've given so far.
