Deleting VMware Files

Yesterday I went through an exhausting three hour session of trying to fix my VMware. Somehow, the Windows 8 file had corrupted after I downloaded a new version of Mountain Lion, and VMware wouldn't load the virtual machine, but I didn't know it was corrupted until yesterday. Before everything, I had a good 100+ GB free for storage, after going through yesterday, I ended with barely over 50 GB free. How does that happen? The person from the IT department deleted anything he would reinstall. I have further gone through to delete any VMware files I could find myself, but I still only have 78 GB free, and before I had downloaded VMware I had around 120 GB free. Can someone please help me find the other files that may be taking up space? I tried downloading Disk Utility X which is supposed to tell me what's taking up space, but I added up all the GB files, and they only equaled 60 GB, and there's no way the MB files would have equaled up to another 80 GB. I just want to rid my machine of all VMware and try to get my money back, so please help.
