Re: The file specified is not a virtual disk.

Good news. The virtual machine wasn't emptied with the trash. I dragged it back into Documents, but it still gives the same error message, "The file specified is not a virtual disk."

 

Regarding the VM on the desktop, that's my backup. It gives the same error as above.

 

When uploading the "support information" file earlier, I might have provided info from backup VM, so I'm attaching support information file from machine that was dragged out of trash.
