Clik here to view. I've found that I rarely ever only use a CD/DVD once so it just makes more sense for me to maintain an Image Server. That said in many cases I've found that installing from ISO, even over the Network, including the initial time to make the Image is faster then directly from Optical Media itself. I also like being ably to modify the ISO Images to embed Product Keys/Serial Numbers/License Files and Updates etc or creating custom installers for different Clients using their specific Product Keys/Serial Numbers/License Files while maintaining updated Images to make it easier. Obviously for an individual user or individual use only this may not be as viable as in business use like in my use case scenario.
