host only network lab fusion5

Hi

I installed two machines, one win server and one win client, both takes the ip on the same network but can't ping or see each other.

the software is vmware fusion 5 on mac mountain lion.

I tried also disabling firewall no luck.

maybe I need fusion professional to setup a lab on my mac?
