Hi, I have purchased an iMac which does not come with a CD/DVD drive anymore.
I have purchased Fusion 5 so that I can run Windows in parallel with my mac. Fusion 5 software. cam with a USB so that I could install, upgrade Fusion 5. Setup my vm but when I start it, it fails at no operating system found. I believe this is because from what I can tell the .vmxf config files says it is trying to install from a CD rom. Whhich I do not have. I have a USB where i copied the Windows XP Professional file over and burned an .iso of the same. How to I get a bootable OS to read from my USB or can I use one of the guest .iso. Every solution I found so far instructs me to insert my Windows OS (Windows XP Pro) disk into the iMac CD rom. Unfortunately I do not have one. Please provide a work around.
Thanks in advance,
