Thanks for getting back to me. I really appreciate your support. I own a software company that makes animation software for both Mac and PC and rely heavily on Fusion. I'm used to it working exactly as you described on all of my previous computers.
I just upgraded to a new MBP with Mtn Lion and put Fusion 5 and Win 8 on it. It seemed to work OK for a while and then just started doing this.
I have an Intuos 5 PTH-650. The Wacom driver on the host is 6.3.4-3.
The solution I found was to disable the touch screen (which I don't have anyway, but Fusion thought I did.) I found this on the following site.
