WoodyZ:
Summary: Your answer(s) worked.
Caveat: I didn't think either one worked - they both failed, until I Enabled the SuperDrive for the CVD/DVD.
Both methods then work.
But, I don't know what bios.forceSetupOnce did, other than kick me into Setup - from which I could not
change the boot settings. It did let me see that the CD was the first choice, as (I assume.) selected by
my action on your first suggestion.
BTW: The ESC key also worked - at least to show me the boot sequence. That may be due to the increased
time your bios.bootDelay suggestion gave me. (I actually used 5000 - being slow.)
It is also good to know that the bios.forceSetupOnce is reset to "FALSE" - by inspection.
Finally, should I attach any significance to the following? In the boot sequence list in hte Setup menu, both
the HDD and Removable media entries have + signs in front of them, while the CD and Network (?) . . . do not.
(I could not get to the Sub-menu, as noted.)
Thanks for your help,
Tim
