VMware Fusion Windows 7 The operation on file failed

Hi all,

After I accidentally pull the power cable from my external drive where my (VMware Fushion 5) Windows 7 is located, I cannot restart my Virtual Windows 7.

I get the message; The operation on file "/Volumes/Media/VMware BACK-UP WINDOWS 7/Windows 7 x64.vmwarevm/Windows 7 x64.vmdk" failed.
After I choose "Cancel" I get the next message: VMware Fushion cannot synchronize with the disk before canceling. Disk/Volumes/.……Windows 7 x64.vmdk may be Inconsistent. (Dots is the location of the Windows 7 virtual disk)
I tried then to repair the virtual disk by following the instructions on the site; Repairing a sparse virtual disk in Fusion.
The instructions where followed as displayed on the website and after I processed the instructions inside Terminal I got the message; Issue repaired: The virtual disk, <path to disk>, was corrupted and has been successfully repaired.
But after i restarted the virtual disk I got the same message as before:
The operation on file "/Volumes/.…../Windows 7 x64.vmwarevm/Windows 7 x64.vmdk" failed.
Hopefully someone can help me out. Thank you in advance!
Kind Regards Arjen
