Exporting from Fusion into ESXi ?

Hi,

Am trying to get a Fusion VM (Fusion Professional Version 5.0.2 900491 ) out of Fusion into ESXi 5.x .....simple right ?

Using the VMware vCentre Standalone Converter ( 5.0.1 build 875114 ) when I create a new conversion job ( type = VMware Workstation or other VMware virtual Machine ) and point it to the Fusion VM's .VMX file it bombs with :

"Unable to obtain hardware information for the selected machine"

So, I have the latest Fusion and Converter and the VM runs fine in Fusion ( Windows 2012 Standard server x64).

Any ideas on how I can get this out of Fusion and into ESXi ?
