I have never seen this problem nor heard of any other reports of this problem. It's an odd one, that's for sure. (And I've used multiple MacBook Pro systems and an iMac with a Magic Trackpad, none of which have exhibited this problem.)
My best guess is that there is some specific software you have installed on both of these machines which is somehow triggering the problem. Can you think of any software that you have installed or special configuration, either on both host machines or in all the virtual machines, that might be related to trackpad/keyboard or accessibility tools? Any other peripherals that are connected to either/both machines which might correlate to the problem?
